Almost Extinct?

Paperclips have actually been with me my whole life. From primary school to my apprenticeship to my work as a freelancer.
Unfortunately, I'm still a long way from describing my office as "paperless".
But with increasing digitization, paper is becoming increasingly obsolete. And so the demand for paperclips will continue to decrease.

So now, in the first quarter of the 21st century, paperclips are almost extinct.
